I purchased a set of TD PR2s for my XR through that buy (check the thread for pics of my car under the screen name "worked_xr"), and purchase went flawlessly. He is a good guy to deal with.

BTW, why you'd pay extra not to have the TD brand stamping seems crazy to me... TD branding on a wheel screams race-cool!

I was looking at that pic recently, no joke. From time to time I use the pics as examples for others and I sat and admired your XR on my new 23" monitor. Wasn't the first time and won't be the last.

So buying an ST? A good online friend was down in Maimi this week at a commercial shoot for the Focus ST and got to sit in the cars and have his pic taken with Tanner Foust. Way cool.

Well, thank you for the rep. I hope to do business with you again .

Thanks for the compliments on the XR. Yep, I've already ordered my ST. I'm one of the few that Ford invited down to Key West for the event. They put us up in a nice hotel, got us face time with Tanner, gave us rides in the cars, kept us on the inside for all the production stuff, went to the "after party" at the Green Parrot. Awesome time! I wish we'd know the Focaljet folks were there, we'd have brought them into the circle.

BTW, I'm considering the possibility of PR3s for the ST (in white of course), though I have to admit that Comp MO5s are my ideal choice. The price difference might be the deciding factor though, so don't be surprised if I inquire.

I am sure like everyone else, we are all jealous. What a cool experience.

As to the wheels, you know where to find me . Chances are the PR3s will need to be spec ordered for you in the UK.

Orders are filled in 10-12 weeks depending on the available casting inventory. If TD UK has the castings, 10-12 weeks for the ETA is good. If TD UK does not have the castings, then we will want to know when in the factory production cycle the PR3s are slated for manufacture.

Any in stock position right now is subject to sell out as we are at the peak of wheel season. I certainly can check for you at any time and delve deeper depending on the response from the factory.

As an FYI, all spec order wheels require full payment up front. Any questions, let me know.

I would like to take a moment on this topic. The Pro Race 1.2, which has the Team Dynamics Motorsports located on the rim face, is Team Dynamics most popular wheel in the Pro Race series. It has been this way for quite some time.

At the same time, there has always been "quiet chatter" in the marketplace for the PR1.2 without the TDM rim styling. This chatter has never condensed into an attainable level of interest for Team Dynamics to act upon globally in their model lineup.

There is, in my experience, a demand out there for such a wheel. To date I have verified the factory will produce a custom order for the Pro Race 1.2S in a solid color. Per TD USA, the Pro Race 1.2S is a Pro Race 1.2 with the lettering machined off the rim and a time attack red strip sprayed in place of the lettering. The spoke structure is the same between the two models.

The lingering issue left to clear up is the rim face appearance of the Pro Race 1.2S. Per TD USA, there will be a machined "step" in the rim face of the 1.2S where the stripe is painted. I am seeking a RAW pic of a PR1.2S to get a look at the rim face for an idea of how the wheel will look sprayed solid. The probability of obtain a RAW pic is low. As castings are produced they head to machine and paint, so catching a wheel right out of production, or an existing RAW inventory, is in question. I hope to have this cleared up very soon, but cannot pin down an ETA on the information as of yet mainly due to the factory running at full capacity as we are at the peak of manufacturing season.

As to wheel preferences, my job is to follow up on all customer inquiries. Team Dynamics has proved to be flexible and already in this case we know they will spray the 1.2S solid without the stripe. It is this last inch of info that will hopefully open up the option to those customers seeking such a wheel.

I have always liked the Comp M05's too...and after watching the latest Ken Block video I'm liking the Fifteen52 wheels he runs (very similar except for outer lip). For me it's between the Fifteen52's in white and the PR3's in gold

Just an FYI, the Fifteen52's are not lightweight. Size matters and the wheel is beefy for purpose use. IIRC the 18x8.5 Tarmac is 27lbs. Great looking wheel though.

PR3's only come in 15x7 and 17x7...some are not aware, if it matters.

The Pro Race 1.2 does not come in 18x8.5, the Pro Race 1.3 does. Weight is 24.25lbs for reference.
