    Jumpy idle and stalling

Last few days when I fully disengage the clutch around 30 mph or below, like approaching a stoplight, the idle just drops and has actually stalled a few times.
Went back to stage 0 tune. Still stalling.
Cleaned MAF sensor during lunch. No stall but still slightly jumpy idle.
Plan to reinstall tune and disconnect battery to let ecu relearn with the stage 1 parameters installed.
Anyone else find this happen or have suggestions?

I have!: Time for oil change.. and then some!

But let me say the ST has MAP sensor, not MAF.

So has he: Engine Fault message and major loss of power

Or this one: Engine Fault Service now

It could be the wiring harness. Are you having any CEL's?

    No CEL at all.
I meant MAP, my buddy kept saying MAF and now I'm all confused lol.
Thanks. I knew I read about it somewhere but couldn't remember.

Ya it's not nearly as severe as these other posts. The car runs fine unless I do the exact thing I mentioned above. And the jumpiness is very intermittent and minor, but clearly visible on the tach. I will try my method tonight and if it doesn't work I will set up a dealer apt.

Try turning off your AC and see if it still does it. Mine has a little shimmy when the AC is really kicking in, but has never stalled out.

A/c was never on. I do know what ur referring to tho. It wasn't that.
Think I resolved the issue by reinstalling stage 1 and disconnecting the battery for 10 mins to reset the ecu. Will find out for sure tomoro

No luck. Still intermittent jumps and stalls. Nothing catastrophic, but under warranty it needs to be fixed. Will make an apt and uninstall tune and green filter prior to my visit. Expect a new MAP that will hopefully last a little more then 15k miles.

Good luck. Hope it just a sensor gone bad. Or something even easier, like premium gas.

Idle stalling issues in the new 5.0 scene was normally fixed with a PCM relearn procedure.
